PLATINUM WRL MEDIUM (GREASE TYPE) is especially designed for long-term preservation of steel cables, wires ropes and steel plates & bars. Therefore it also increases the safety of the wire ropes. It is a fluid type of lubricant and as a result it can able to penetrate the core of the wire rope and properly lubricate the various parts of the wire rope.

 

PLATINUM WRL MEDIUM (GREASE TYPE) contains a precise quantity of polymers in the form of methylcrylates results to significant affinity characteristics of the lubricant to metal components. Stops creeping, squeezing out and flinging off tendencies in cases where cable and wire ropes are drummed in or out while in use. VTR add-ons and a good percentage of graphite had been formulated into this lubricant which reduces rapid evaporation of the solvent component thus protecting the steel cables and wire ropes against oxidation, corrosion, rust rigidity and eventual failure. Optional: PLATINUM WRL MEDIUM W/ MOLY (GREASE TYPE) contains 2.5% MOLY (molybdenum di-sulphide) for added surface protection. Optional: PLATINUM WRL MEDIUM W/ EP (GREASE TYPE) contains EP (Extreme Pressure) for added surface protection.

Application

PLATINUM WRL MEDIUM (GREASE TYPE) is highly recommended for marine, mining and cement industry draglines, hoist cable and various cables of elevators, derricks, ship steel and wire rope ancillaries, capstans, mooring and towing lines, multi strand ropes, cranes and other heavy equipment: lifters, gantries, support cables of bridges, guy wires, rail curves and the like.
